Nate aka DJ N8TRIXX has been spinning underground house, trance and break beats for the last 27 years. Playing in the US, Canada and Europe and St. Maarten in the Caribbean. He became interested in the underground scene after going to a now famous Love-In in 1993 at NASA on Hudson St., NYC. He began DJing in 1994 at the Marist College radio station, near New York City. When he left college he started playing more and more underground music mainly the Chemical Brothers, Underworld, The Orb and Prodigy. Then in early part of 1996 he got his first pair of Tech 1200’s and a crate of house records. Since that time he has been spinning with the most influential DJs in the world.
N8TRIXX was in the same underground music production circles back in 1999 as Deadmau5, then known as Halcyon441. Nate performed with Deadmau5 at a co-producers (Drastik) and lifelong friends B-Day party. This was several years before he became a national headliner, Grammy nominated artist and Juno Award winner.
He has also played with the likes of Paul Oakenfold, DJ DAN, BK, DJ Icey, Micro, Bam Bam, Grant Plant, Frankie Bones, Mickey Finn, Darren Jay, Hardware, Kimball Collins, Dj Rap, Dj Green Lantern, Vinylgroover, Jon The Dentist, Christopher Lawrence, Anabolic Frolic, Commander Tom, Andy Farley, Sandra Collins, AK1200, Dieselboy, Hipp E, Halo, J. He also had a team of Dj's under the name Trance Force productions, one of these Dj's Kevin Somogye - Local Heroes has recently had several of his trios tracks played by Armin Van Buuren and many other world renowned Dj's.
Nate has produced several traxx in these 22 years like “Sound Of The DJ” co-produced with Drastik, which appeared on DRASTIK MEASURES (BLUE CHIP RECORDS, NYC) the same label that Darude (Sandstorm) was also an artist. As well as the crowd pleaser “Soul Divider” (which made it to MP3.com’s Top 20 for Trance), “Face the Drum” (which remained on the Top 30 on electronicscene.com for 12 months reaching a peak chart place of 2nd), “The Bass”, “Breaky Horn Yo” and “We Remember” all on www.n8trixx.com. He has played at the most influential clubs in the surrounding area, with residencies at many of them. He has released seven mixes CDs- Trixx Mix 2.3, Trixx Mix 3.0, Full On Mix, New Trancension, A New Beginning, Trance Force Part I and DJ N8TRIXX live from Boston.
He is also back into music production with remixes and original traxx on the way.
